— Italian director based in Milan, moving between fashion films, music videos and commercials — combining storytelling and aesthetics with both a narrative and documentary approach.
Born in Varese in 1993, Giada came to film through art and literature — a finalist for the Piero Chiara Young Literary Prize, and two years travelling Europe after school that turned into a need to document and film. She moved to Milan in 2013, studying Digital Film Making at SAE Institute, Screenwriting at Luchino Visconti Civic School of Cinema, and Film Acting at Campo Teatrale.
Her experimental documentary Borntwice (2019) was selected to represent Italy abroad by the Italian Short Film Center; her first short CREATURA (2021) screened at Leuven and Clermont-Ferrand. Quattro Pareti earned three UKMVA 2022 nominations including Best New Director, and she was shortlisted at Cannes' Young Director Awards 2023 and won Young Guns YG21 the same year. Ad clients include Nike, Adidas, Maserati, Mercedes, Amazon Music, H&M and Versace Jeans Couture — she's currently developing her first feature.
